The events in the book took place in Brigham City, UT, during the late 1960s and early 1970s. I could only find this old map, a 1937 version. I couldn't find anything from the 50s, 60s, or 70s. If you look closely at the number 2 on the map, you can see the House Down Dirt Lane. It existed in the 1930s. I'm not sure when it was built. I'll try to provide a link to a larger map at some point.
